This kind of thing has been done before, but never by me. This project came about when I flipped through The Book and thought, it&#8217;s too bad I&#8217;m too lazy to make all of these. In the summer of 2006 I went to war with my laziness. My arsenal consists of a small apartment kitchen in Montreal and a grad student&#8217;s budget. My adversary is a book filled with 14 hour preparation times, hard to find ingredients, a penchant for butter, and the ability to foie gras me into the poor house.
